How it works

From signup to sent, in minutes.

A complete step-by-step guide for schools, businesses, and organizations to send bulk SMS across Africa.

Getting started

Six steps to your first message.

01

Create your free account

Sign up at app.sendafrica.online — no credit card needed. You get free SMS credits to test the platform immediately.

02

Top up your credits

Purchase credits via mobile money (M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Tigo Pesa), bank transfer, or card. Credits never expire.

03

Register a sender ID

Your Sender ID is the name recipients see (e.g. "YOURBRAND", "ST JOHNS"). Submit it from your dashboard for carrier approval.

04

Compose your message

Type your message, enter a phone number or upload a CSV, and hit send. You can also schedule messages for later.

05

Upload contacts list

For bulk sends, upload a CSV or Excel file with phone numbers and personalization fields (name, class, amount).

06

Track delivery reports

View real-time delivery reports — see which messages were delivered, failed, or are still in progress. Download reports anytime.

Tips

Effective SMS marketing.

Personalize your messages — include the recipient's name for higher engagement.

Keep it short — SMS works best with concise content under 160 characters per segment.

Include a call to action — tell recipients what to do next ("Shop now", "Reply YES").

Send at the right time — mid-morning and early evening work best. Avoid late-night messages.

Track your results — monitor delivery rates and adjust your strategy accordingly.

Get consent — always ensure recipients have opted in to receive messages from you.
